Bullied Boy Kills Tormentor with One Punch – QCPD

QUEZON CITY, Philippines - A 13-year-old boy was picked up by village watchmen here on Sunday after he allegedly killed with one punch an older boy who had been bullying him, police said yesterday.


Inspector Elmer Monsalve, chief of the homicide investigation section of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), said "Arnie" (not his real name) was questioned over the death of 14-year-old David hours after the two of them figured in a fight.

Investigators learned from witnesses that Arnie was being picked on by the older boy until he got fed up and struck back by delivering a strong blow on David's back.



The fight between the two out-of-school youth broke out around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at a compound on Visayas Avenue-Extension in Barangay Pasong Tamo, Q.C., said Monsalve.

Later that afternoon, David started vomiting at home prompting his parents to take him to the Bernardino General Hospital. It was there where David died.


In the evening, barangay public safety officers (BPSOs) took Arnie to police stationed at Camp Karingal to give his statement to probers.

On Monday, it was learned that Arnie had been turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on account of his being a minor.

Sweet revenge indeed. I have been bullied when I was young also, but never had the guts to retaliate though. Comparing my current status to them, is somewhat my statement saying "I'm way better than them".

Question to parents. Are you well aware of your child being a bully or getting bullied?

I was never bullied myself but most of my friends were. And it was tough seeing people you know being bullied.

I hope parents make themselves aware if their children are being bullied or ARE bullies.

kung ako c Arnie wa koy regrets infact it was something to be proud of... tagam mga bully which is sayup sad sa parents kay kulang sa deciplina ilang anak....

OnT: grabeha noh, gabaan ang bully ato. a classmate was once bullied and, same situation, but same age niya ang bully. But daku nga tao. lagum pa gyud kaau. Nag sabot sila nga mag sumbagay inig dismissal didto luyo sa gym. Pag fight na nila, gisumbag niya dritso sa nawng unya na lipong ang bully. Sad to say ni sinyas sa barkada unya gitabangan ang ako classmate. Pero naka daog siya sa sumbagay obviously. Bullies, be warned.

ka suway ko ani... not only i was bullied but all of my classmates... 2 of us in the room were the tallest, but i was the thinnest. he was in front or standing at the platform and i couldn't take it anymore so i quietly stand up and walk towards him and punch him in the stomach... he was on the ground for about 2 mins and it all ended there... and till then i was the defender of my classmates.

i am a friendly kind of guy so the more friends the merrier. hehehe
