Why HATE tagalogs?

You know we can't speak bisaya.
We don't have bisaya subject unlike filipino.

So why do you want us to speak bisaya when you know that we don't have the capability to speak in your language? Picture yourself travelling outside visayas and mindanao region and try to speak your language, let us see if they will understand you. Of course you can communicate using english but that is not the point.

This is my list why bisaya hate tagalogs(based on my experience)

Bisayan hate tagalogs because of:

1. The way we talk which is "malambing or malambot".
2. Hambugiro or "Mayabang". (Sometimes if we are telling a story, bisayan found it "hambog" when it's just natural to us).
3. Pronunciation (Bicycle = baysikel, Google = gugel, circle = sirkel ...) - Bisayan found it funny, but that is just the way we speak.
4. Imperialistic Manila (but not all tagalogs are from manila for example Laguna, Batangas, Cavite mostly region4)
5. Filipino the national language of the philippines is mostly "TAGALOG" based and bisaya found it degrading to their roots or ancestors or whatever they call it. (This is the most hated!)

I know this list are not enough please feel free to add.

I didn't create this thread to start a flame war or anything. I just want to know why bisayan hate tagalogs?

I don't hate tagalogs. Some of my closest, dearest friends are from Manila.

mostly kasi tinatawanan nila yung mga bisaya na nagtatagalog lalo na at hindi masyadong straight yung pagkasabi. so ayun.

One thing I have observed is that Tagalogs are racist towards Cebuanos calling them provincianos or treating them as inferior.

Ang2x Maro man gud ang mga tagalog sauna, pabor lang sila ky na establish ang capital didto sa manila ug naa didto ang presidente saunang panahon. I combine ang mindanao ug visayas, kadaghan ra ug mag binisaya ahh,gamay ra ug ligas sa mga sinultian kontra sa mgtinagalog.

Tagalogs are just too afraid that they arent the best,so they try to enforce their language, and beliefs into other Filipino groups.Tagalog was selected to become the "national" language purely by political reasons. After all, before Tagalog became the "national" language, Bisaya was the most widely spoken language in the Philippines and probably still holds that distinction.
