The Cry of the Children
A cry has gone out to the sons of men,
A cry from the throne of God,
What have you done with my little ones,
where have they gone.
I hear the cry of the child,
the cry of a million children,
I created the beauty on their faces, now all I see is pain.
Come up here you men and women, what is that on your hands,
The colour of crimson,
You spread death throughout the land.
You have taken the right to live
Out of My hands,
Do you realize what you’ve done,
Many a child of blessing has never seen the sun.
Yes, they live with Me; they will live forevermore,
and before you they shall stand,
on the day of judgement,
to condemn you, sinful man.
So arise you who would repent of this sin,
And I’ll forgive you if you will turn aside, for the cry of the children has come to my ears
And My face from them I will not hide.
