The Toshiba 200 GB hard drive combines its PMR technology with a Tunnel Magneto-Resistive Recording (TMR) Head that offers quick speeds despite the comparatively slow 4200 RPM spindle speed, resulting in less vibration and lower power consumption. The SATA-150 interface and 8 MB buffer ensure fast data transfer between the internal hard drive and the PC. The Toshiba 200 GB hard drive uses the SATA interface to deliver a maximum data transfer rate of 150 Mbps to the host, and point-to-point connections allow it operate at optimum performance. In addition, the Toshiba MK2035GSS drive offers an average seek time of 12 ms and a track-to-track seek time of 2 ms.
