hey.. naa jud class or work tomnaglibog na jud ko.... please let me now so that i could infor\m my classmates. they said man gud na it's a public holiday... but others said na naa jud daw class tom coz TODAY ra ang holiday.. hahai....

It's a non-working holiday. If teacher no work, students don't have teacher, ...students no class!
only one thing to do... lakwatsa galore...

Non-working holiday... means no work, except maybe on some businesses (service oriented business).
Schools (elementary, highschool and colleges) always included on non-working holiday... well if your
school will hold class.. that plainly sucks... it's like going to school on Christmas day

Palace clarifies Monday holiday Covers gov't offices, public, private schools only

THE NON-WORKING holiday on Monday will apply only in government offices and public and private schools, Malacañang clarified on Sunday morning.

Proclamation 901 signed and released by Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita on Sunday, however, exempted the Bureau of Customs from the holiday.

Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye said earlier that there will be work in the private sector. He said this is because some private companies have quotas to meet.

On Saturday night, Bunye announced that Monday, Aug. 29 will be declared a nonworking holiday as National Heroes Day falls on a Sunday, Aug. 28.[/qoute]
