what do i look for in a good laptop? any suggested brands? how about PC desktop? better ba ang dektop kaysa laptop? sorry, clueless kaayo ko. i'm planning to buy a computer. one that is best value for money. thanks!

well, laptops are good for mobility and wireless access.. Can't upgrade much though..

Desktop computers are heavy loaded with components.. you could add lots of components.. like 4 SATA HDD, 4 CDROMS.. Can cope up with heavy graphic games with 30K budgets.. unlike sa laptop, must be atleast 50K siguro aron makaduwa ka'g games nga bug.at.. i don't know the latest prices though..

Anyways, it is also about on what your daily needs.. If you're on games, preferred jud ang Desktop Computer.. But kung office works lang, Laptop nalang..

if you want a fast laptop jud, kanang latest like Core2Duo nga processor for laptop, with atleast 1GB of memory.

di man gyud ko techie person and ang gamit sa computer for me is for work ra nad presentations also for internet. kung laptop, naa cheap laptops nga naa built in LAN card ba na for wireless access sa wi-fi hot spots?

what kind of office things are you gonna be doing with the laptop? wat kind of software are you gonna be using?? most laptops now have a built-in LAN, moden and wi-fi so you dont have to worry about that,...

i only use the computer for reports, surfing the net and back up for my handheld device. i am thinking more of a laptop kay convenient to carry anywhere but at the same time nag think man ko, di ba mas daku ang memory sa desktop? and cheaper pud? hay, clueless gyud ko!

Nakita ka ug laptop nga naay LAN card nga makaconnect sa wi fi? naa diay? karon pa ko ani da.

IMHO, lain na ang LAN card lain sad ang Wireless card.

ang memory depende na nimo. also with the speed and etc as long naa kay ikabayad.

mas mahal jud ang laptop than the desktop.

if laptop, naa man barato but dili kaayo kasaligan ang brands.
