Games with the best "Swordplay"

Can you recommend games with good swordplay gameplay? I'm not talking about mindless hack and slash games like Diablo or even Skyrim (which has a block mechanic)...

Anyway.

Dark Souls is a given, but I wanted to make this topic solely because found another game that has noteworthy swordplay:

Mount and Blade: Warband

It's an incredibly addictive PC game. I got it from Steam after searching the internet for the "most addictive PC games". Other people can't seem to stop heaping praise for this game so I gave it a try.

I guess I'll just go ahead and say that the best thing about this game is the gameplay. Particularly the swordplay. Anyone who has played Dark Souls knows how a good combat mechanic feels. Mount & Blade and Dark Souls' combat aren't exactly the same but both do require more than just mashing on the attack buttons to overwhelm enemies. Personally, I prefer Mount & Blades combat. It's incredibly satisfying.

I also wanted to try out War of the Roses (which has a similar gameplay with M&B, but with better graphics) but it's only multiplayer. And not too many people from Asia are playing, which means no Asian servers, which means high ping. Actually it's the same case for M&B Warband, but at least the single player campaign is enjoyable by itself.

People are also talking about Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (haven't played it yet). It's supposedly really brutal and, based from the clips on youtube, the sound adds to the experience. The combat gameplay is a bit watered down though. I believe it's somewhat similar to the melee combat in the Elder Scrolls games, except brutal.

As far as I can tell, low ping is very important when it comes to melee fighting. Dili pareha sa shooters kay bisan dako kaayo kag ping pero nagsnipe raka sa layo, makapatay ra gihapon ka. Pero basta melee alkanse gyud ang dako ug ping vs gamay ug ping. Good examples are the fighting games over the internet ug kaning mga duwaa.
