    Hi Sir Jhumzki,

    I saw one of your SWF works years back, 2003 or so... Mao jud toy naka pa inspire nakog animation years back pud before I settled being a Fixer sa LTO... anyway, here is what I think should be set-up for you sir.

    Processor : intel core I5 - 3470 3.2ghz - pc express (8,250) AMD FX-8150 (same price or so, you can try asking Nutech, hitachi_paul or Insotec for availability... and I think kita ko ani sa GI one time)

    Ram : gskill ripjaws 1600 2x4gb - pc express(2,000) 16GB of RAM and if possible get a tad bit higher frequency, around 1866 MHz

    Mobo : asrock b75 3rd gen ivy bridge - pc express (2,500) Hehehe, if you'll go with my recommended processor above, change to an FM1 / FM2 board. (usually the ones selling the good ones for this is Nutech, try asking hitachi_paul)

    Video card : sapphire radeon hd7850 oc ed 2048mb 256bit ddr5 - pc quickbuys (9,800) Go for the 1 tier higher sir, 7950, yes you can get them both at Cebu Appliance Center for 9,950 or from Nutech for 10k

    Hdd : 500gb wd green- pc express (2450) Try the WD Caviar Blue, you can get them at Enigma... or you can always stick to good old Seagate, also at Enigma, same price.

    Case : cougar optima - enigma (1755) Yes this is already a good one.

    Psu : seasonic s12ii bronze 520w - pc express (2850) Good one too. But I'd recommend Silverstone due to it having the EASIEST warranty coverage ever, the PH distro is just located locally in Cebu.

    ---
    Hope you like my recommendations sir, trusted and certified with Video Processing and Rendering 3D.

    What are you upgrading from? I bought an I7 3770 a few days ago and I'm not so impressed. I have a core2quad 9450 and core i3 2100 and was expecting double the render performance but its only 70% faster.
    intel core I5 - 3470 will be slow if you are upgrading from 3 generations back like my two pc.

    just my suggestion, make it 2x 500gb blue caviar 7200rpm hdd

    1 x 500gb, partitioned for apps and scratch disk
    1 x 500gb, datas, final outputs

    just my 2 cents.

    and AMD Radeon cards if heavy ang adobe apps for open CL, pero if not payts ra Nvidia for its CUDA cores .

    enjoy..=)
