mao bah slakker? did some research on them (and lots of torrent d/l-ing, hehe) they've been compared to the likes of maroon 5 and andrei 2000 (or 3000) with his "the love below album. mainly because of their wont to synthesizers and melodic riffs. adto mo diri bai ay for thier vid clips: http://www.wearephoenix.com/
IMO their music is very honest and really feels good. kinda sad and happy and trust me when i say that the constant trip between the two emotions will be very fun when your with them!

^i'm not familiar with the music of andrei 2000, pero i don't think similar ang Phoenix and Maroon 5. Murag masa ra kaayo ang Maroon 5. For me, i think Phoenix plays dance music for indie kids.

i agree, but some of their stuff aren't as dancy as their popular songs. prolly that's the reason for the comparison. just finished listening to their United album, me likes "too young" and "if i ever feel better"

i've been listening to their new album (It's Never Been Like That) for the past couple of months, for me it's one of the best releases of 2006 so far... they ditched their electronica influences in favor of real instruments. great great album...
