depende ra disiplina ug mind set. kung apil ka gun club, unya lingaw2x lng nimo target shooting, ok kaayo na. but kung hunahuna ka nga naa ky armas to defend yourself, your family and your properties, then nag set ka sa imong mind that you will have something or someone to defend someday.

I own a few Armas de Fuego. TRUE: Disiplina ra jud na sa kaugalingon. Defense ra jud ang ako reason for keeping one.

as i've said at another thread that anything and everything can be dangerous in the hands of stupid people.may it be the most "harmless" thing.

i just hate stupid people for causing a lot of trouble for responsible gun owners like me.

If your gun is intended only for self defense
then owning one is really advantageous.
I do have an M4 carbine, Recoil-less shotgun and a 45 hand gun,
and it does not give me any disadvantages.

Depende ra gyud sa disiplina... Sa akoang hometown, halos tanan tao naa tinaguan na armas, pero la man magpinusilay, mas daghan pa bombing gali...

It needs discipline if you have a firearm. It's good for protection from burglars or any bad people. But what's bad is that mo gamay ang tan.aw nimu sa tao raba kung naa kay armas. samot na kung naka inom ka. Naa gyud mi silingan nga naa na siyay paltik hambogero na kaau. tsk puryagaba lang.

Advantage: (for the people in The AFP). It keeps us secured. Let's face the fact that this world has evil on it, so somehow it keeps the lawless at bay; thereby "peace" is preserved and prolonged.

Disadvantage: It can be used by people with wrong intentions (e.g. world domination or the likes). So when in it is in the wrong hands (just what the others had said) it can be disastrous.

Even ang laway sa naya TB mang luwa nimo is as dangerous as a FIREARM in the hand of bad people.

Its the PEOPLE who should be in question if he is an asset or a liability to the community , to the society. I can get high on drugs , do a killing a spree and put to shame the people who did it with shooting their guns to innocent civilians because what I have is a khukri and a parang.

See .... GUN is not the issue here , its the VALUES and TRAITS of FILIPINOS that we dont have anymore.

But for the sake of discussion in owning a firearm and its advantage and disadvantage , you can sleep like a child at night because you know you have something that the bad people dont like.

Disadvantage lang , it could be an accident waiting to happen if its in the wrong hands.

maka-keep ra mn sd ta'g armas labi na sa atong mind set ron nga dli na tnan AFP or Pulis tarong ug serbisyo!

if ingon ani ang naa sa atong huna2x, advantage is makadefend na ta sa atong self even without the presence of AFP, police and etc...

disadvantage, dpende najud na sa user if unsaon pag-gamit sa armas!
