So here's the story. I upgraded my system over the holidays, going from a Core2Quad Q9400 + ASUS P5P43TD PRO LGA 775 set up to an MSI Z77 MPower + Core i7 3770K. Pag assemble nako, I was having problems with DIMM slot 3 and 4, kay cge ra cyag restart. DIMM slots 1 and 2 were working fine. Long story short, sa akong ka excited wa ko kabantay nga nasipyat ko ug tangtang sa cooler when wala cya ni haom sa board and I nicked a pin on the motherboard's LGA 1155 socket (ouch). The MPower isn't cheap, so you can imagine unsa ko ka rattle when I found out about the bent pin.
So I brought it back to Nutech SM where I bought it a day before and after consulting the local supplier, void jud ang warranty (aray na ko), they can't replace the item but they will ship it to Manila sa ila supplier to see what could be done. After 2 weeks, I finally got an update from Nutech yesterday. The supplier in Manila confirmed nga they cannot replace the item and void jud ang warranty (agay na sad) but they were able to re-bend the pin cguru mga 75% back to what it was before. Obvious kuno ghapon ang semi-bent pin but the good news is, all RAM slots now work. Everything on the board is fully functional but they're doing extensive testing sa board for now to make sure wala cyay deperensya ig ship balik sa board diri sa Cebu. Nipasalig pud ang Nutech nga if naay deperensya in the future, mu provide ra ghapon sila ug support sa item. Up to what extent, I'm not sure pero I will find out once makuha na nako ang board.
So my question is; MSI Z77 MPower with semi-bent socket pin, void ang warranty but everything 100% functional and all accessories including box/manual/cables/driver disc complete. Will it still sell? Just wanted to get your opinions before I decide on what to do.
