I'd suggest not using Wordpress, Joomla or Drupal for a serious ecommerce site. They are content management systems. They're great for organising content but for ecommerce I'd go with a script that has been designed for ecommerce from the start rather than a plugin that has been built to just give a different site ecommerce functionality.
