AirCon at work makes me sickly!

Any experience about this? Do you agree?

Amo workplace ba, so cold, the aircon is too low and always turned on (a lot of aircons at work), and when we ask to turn it off, we're just given a reason that the monitors need cold environment or others complain that it's too hot, so better turn it on and make it low so that we freeze to death. Then they'll say, just bring jackets! Huhuhuhu

Woah, really? I am so sickly na every month nako cge sneeze, colds to fever! I thought makaya ra jud xa ug jacket, pero monthly nman jud cge ra gihapun ko sakit.... Mao ni ang north pole!

I've read topics about this sa google, some say that it could be because of sinusitis or simply bcuz it's too cold....Why is it nga if I stay at home, I wont feel this crazy feeling?

Akong mata mura na mo gawas, ang hangin paingun sa akong face, even though I have mittens, hats that can cover my ears, socks, and 2 warm jackets (double jud xa as in, I look crazy!), I can still feel that crazy freeze, as in mag sakit akong nose nga mura ko'g naa sa beach gani? Unya mag cge ko headaches, mag chapped lips pajud ko....Not just me, I heard other employees feel the same, most of us sneeze all the time!

Akong vitamins everyday kay duha na kabuok, centrum ug ad-c plus para sa zink, mao ang recommend ni doc sa ako. Hahayst mao ra japun, hasta man japung tugnawa dere....dili man nuon ko kaau dukaunon basta kay naa lng lingaw (istorya2x) hihihihi

Sorry to hear this but reality bites. Computers need low temperature especially sa mga huge installations. I also had my fair share sa mga very cold workplaces tong nag work ko sa Innodata. It's hard to imagine I survived for 6 months as an encoder -- mang gahi akong kamot sa kabugnaw. Ang workaround -- mo dagan ko didto sa CR once in a while kay naa man heater didto, kanang pauga sa kamot.

Is it not because gikan sa bugnaw kaayo, nya ig gawas nimo init? Makalitan imong lawas sa sudden change of temperature mao mo trigger imong sinusitis? In my case, ang maka trigger sa akong sinus kay kanang cigarettes, not the cold but who knows lahi lahi man ta. Looks like walay plano ang management to answer your plea, so either you survive or find another job.

By the way, last job nako kay na assign ko sa server room, and yes, bugnaw jud kaayo. Mag jacket ko sa sulod, nya ang tanan mo visit nako didto kay mag kurog. They can't help but wonder makaya daw nako ang kabugnaw
