Hi Moderator,

I am not sure if i posted in the right forum, but i cannot see any forum related to real property tax aside sa "buy and sell " forum nga real property. If this is not the right forum, pls help me transfer. thanks.

Topic:

It is time to pay our annual real property tax again. I Know everyone knows nga if you pay before March 31, of the current year, you will get additional 10% discount for Cebu City property.

Question:

Do we get additional 10% discount if paid before December 31 (the year before?).

Example:
what: Real property Tax for year 2012
if paid : before March 31, 2012, there is additional 10% discount.
if paid : before December 21, 2011, will the discount be 20% for Cebu City and Mandaue property?

TIP:
For Consolacion house and lot owners, you can pay before December 31, and you will get 20% discount, its a very big savings. This is currently on-going.

Any inputs? or anyone working in the City Hall treasury?

20 % sa akoa sad bitaw kinahanglan before 28 Dec kay holiday naman sila ig 29 ingon ako mga kaila sa munisipyo.

@ struggler: tinuod ka ? 5% nalang ang discount sa Cebu City sa year 2013? ka bad, gamay nalng diay atong ma save ani dah.

@miramax: imo pasabot kay consolacion ni sa? yup, 20% jd, bt u ned to get the new tax dec kay bag.o ra nila gi re assess ang mga lot . so, in average, almost x2 jd ang mabayaran compared last year. ambot lang if tanan ba lot sa consolacion nitaas pag assess.

so, wala jd siguro additional discount sa Cebu and Mandaue kay wala mn nitubag, or walay interested sa discount? hehe

For consolacion, ang usually nisaka ug assesment level is kanang naa sa subdvsion. from 10% to 20%.. F plain residntial lng xa then 10% ra ghapun
