It's bad if you don't warm up and stretch before & after playing and most specially if you're one of those weekend warriors. Moduwa or exercise lang during weekends. Be it badminton, basketball , tennis or jogging etc.
A doctor friend of mine said that since the badminton craze started he and his colleagues are quite glad & happy cause of the business they're raking in due to the numerous no. of players having injuries mostly from playing badminton. It's usually with the knee, arm, elbow or shoulder injuries. And he said most of these can be prevented if people just pay attention to their body and do warm-ups and do stretches before working out.

Motuo gyud ako niini...... it pays to warm-up and even cooling down...... simple stretch exercises will do.....

Wala ako kadungog bahin sa matress maon-on pero it will be beneficial for ladies with family history, etc. to go a have physical, medical check regularly or before playing. Badminton will require the player to jump and will be hard on the knees especially since the impact usually goes there. It also pays to know how to jump properly and perform the appropriate footwork. It also pays to play in courts properly designed for the games.

Siguro applicable dire ang idiom nga when in doubt, don't..... don't force yourself to play until you are doubly sure you are fit for the game.
