Share your Rooting/Upgrading/Downgrading experiences on Android devices

Before I start, I'm not too sure if there is an existing thread like this and I did tried looking for one but found none. So, I'm starting one, but mods, if there is already a similar thread, please delete this and I apologize in advance ... Spank me if needed ... heheheh

Let me start with my experience, my first was with Galaxy mini rooted and upgraded from Android 2.2 (froyo) to Android 2.3.4 (gingerbread)... sadly I lost the phone so I have to get a new one...

Second experience is with Galaxy S I9000 running froyo still (2.2) and upgraded to Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread but I did'nt root it... I followed instructions from an android website and was a happy camper when my phone booted... Have been using it since then and it only froze on me 1 or 2 on a 5 month period... now I'm planning to root it and upgrade it to ICS Android 4.0.4...
I'll post some screenshot of my upgraded ROM, currently gingerbread 2.3.6

@KykyBuredeng wala raba ko ka familiar sa uban bro, but i know there are other resources, google is your friend.. naa ko website ika recommend pero i=pm nalang nako kay ma bunalan nya ta dre. hehehe
