I have ADD. Good thing not hyperactive. It's kinda tough living having a lot of conditions. Not just that, I have a lot more... basta haha. Won't say anything kai wa na unya koi friends.. haha :'>

@kineth3 : this is the reason why I initiated this kind of community here in Cebu, there is more to Life beyond this disability.

just this November they held a national conference this was attended by people with, parents and educator.

For parents whose hunting for schools, Sped, center just pm'ed i will do my best to share what little I have.

@Sasy: Thank you for the like. I have the copy of the book and it is very inspiring. The book starts with a story about an eagle egg accidentally mixed with the chicken egg and when they hatched the eagle ended up living with the chickens. The poor eagle was considered an outcast because the eagle is having a hard time doing what chickens normally do. Until the day comes that the eagle discovered something; the main reason why he can't do what chickens normally do is because he is not a chicken. He is an eagle!

Nice one Ms Sy. I have a 5 y.o ADD student who loves to "devour" lots of books. No wonder he's included among the top 10 in their class.

@Okimangelo : i think the book was very inspiring based on your story, where did you purchased it?

@porbidaman : is it ok to ask san school cya currently enrolled?

i just pulled out my child from her K1 class since she shown signs of frustration. the school was very traditional, she's currently home schooled.

Its an old-school setting here in Leyte Ms Grace. The kid continues to misplaced his pencils, books and notebooks. Good thing the teachers are aware of his condtion, so he needs to be reminded often.
