I need help regarding 64bit or 32bit.. running windows 7

I have my wife's laptop , It's running on windows7 ultimate 32bit , but apparently it has 6gb RAM ( 3+ gb usable as stated)
so i searched and found out that 64bit systems can allow more than 4gb ram,

Anyone knows or can help me upgrade my wife's laptop to 64bit? i want to use the full potential of the laptop unta

try to run installation for 64-bit and choose Custom type installation.... murag i-upgrade niya ug dating but yet again, knowing the style sa microsoft, I would prefer a clean install para sure jud nga gikan sa limpyo ang imong OS...

If you really want to take advantage of the full potential of what your lappy can offer, i suggest you for a fresh install of the OS... Be it clean or custom... Clean means you will wipe evrything out(format your hdd). Custom means your OS will create a windows.old folder and place your 32-bit files inside at the same time it will allow you access to your laptop drivers which in most cases dont work... Hehehe! =) hackers are working on programs that will allow you to upgrade your 32-bit to 64-bit which im not sure if its available na this time... If it does, i dont even think its a good idea and if the system will be stable! Hence, wala nimo gi take advantage ang full potential sa imong lappy if mo go ka sa upgrade kay most of the time ma carry over imong issues/problems sa 32 bit when you cross over sa 64 bit... Which is why most programmers will really tell you na if you want to really experience the new windows, dont go for upgrade! =) hope this helps!
