SemiAccurate reports that Nvidia is working on two GPUs based on the GK114 and GK114-GX. As of yet, it's unknown whether these chips will both be developed fully, or whether a single chip will be used for both mid-range and high-end graphics cards, as the manufacturer has done with its current Kepler models. The GK104 chip will also be revised, updating the architecture with the latest technologies.

Both AMD and Nvidia's upcoming models are roughly 15% faster than the current generation.

Nvidia’s Maxwell process choice | SemiAccurate

First the news. Maxwell is the generation of Nvidia GPUs following the current Keplers, and Kepler still has a refresh called GK114 coming out in the spring of 2013. Maxwell is due after that, historically a fall schedule in Q4/2013, but current release schedules seem to indicate that the entire industry has slipped to spring releases. That means Q1/2014 is much more likely as a release date.

sige lang man ni sila battle bro... hehehe... mas nindot ning upcoming releases kay gamay ra ni sila kaon sa kuryente... mag uwan ang mga SLI or Crossfirex siguro ani na time (gamay ra man ang mga fans sa ani na set-up hinoon)... bug-at ra ba napud ang mga upcoming new games releases... though, dili hinoon tanan...

pero, mapiti ni sila kun mag apil2x na si BLUE sa discrete GPU offerings... so, before wala pa, sila lang sa duha... maximize gyud nila ang time para maka haul-in ug revenues sa company... hehehe
