Pagan metal themes. Ang uban they sound black metal. Ang Belenos kay black metal with pagan/celtic themes, and Bal-Sagoth kay progressive with science fiction/h.p. lovecraft/robert howard themes, ang behemoth kay black/death metal na these days with pagan/thelemic pero earlier albums nila kay black metal-ish, carpathian forest is plain black metal with anti-christian/satanism themes, mao sad sa mysticum. kasagaran black metal bands have themes that revolve on satanism/antichristianism/occultism, and they usually have the same sound. Other pagan metal bands sound like black metal but they incorporate folk/celtic influences in their music.

It's not only about how they sound, it's also about the lyrical content/theme.

i'm very ignorant with this genre. i've never heard of a band who has this type of music. so far i've only been hooked with gothic rock, with usually, a female lead vocalist and orchestratral music mixed with edgy guitar riffs and dark, gloomy or gory themes.

Some pagan metal bands have female operatic vocals, but not all the time. For example, Alkonost, they have 2 vocalists, a harsh male vocalist, and the operatic female vocals. Same with Butterfly Temple. But others just have harsh shrieking vocals.

nindot man ang sounds ini ala death metal...and some of the content(katong ma sabtan)hehehe

It's not only about how they sound, it's also about the lyrical content/theme.

but not all albums release lyrics sa ilang inlay card...sounds man ko then the lyrical content na type ako.hehehe
