Default Planning a long solo ride

You are thinking of doing a solo getaway ride, you and your bike and maybe with a backrider companion.

    How do you plan it?
What are the items in your checklist?
    What tools do you bring?
What are the dos and donts?

Or do you even recommend doing it?

Bakasyon is almost there, and I'm planning to do the trip from here (Cebu) to Negros, and it will be my first time.

What do you think guys? TIA!

Plan your route like setting your stops and refuel stations.
Pack only your important things (the lighter the better).
Bring some spare tubes (if you're bike is on spokes) or put some tire seal (if its on mags). TOOLS! TOOLS! TOOLS!. Bring also some extra rios if you're on spokes.
Put you're bike on a traveling condition like tuning-up, check for wirings, check the battery. (I think there would be mini-shops along the way that could help you with small troubles alon the way.)
Be MENTALLY and PHYSICALLY FIT. Respect the road ahead of you and Ride Safe.

Bro, let me help you plan the trip.

    How do you plan it?
-how many days are you thinking of getting on the road?
    -average mileage per day?
-average # of hours of driving per day?
    -stops you'd like to make?

What are the items in your checklist?
    -riding gear
    -basic tools,
-mc must be in tip top condition,
-budget must be ready and with extra
-contact acquaintances in advance to inform them of your trip
    -backpack
    -clothing
    -helmet
    -medicine
    -lots of fluids
    -rain coat

    What tools do you bring?
    -wrench (8mm to 19mm),
    -DIY kit for vulcanizing,
    -flashlight.
    -extra bulbs (for headlight)
    -small hand pump

What are the dos and donts?
    DO's:
Do plan your trip and stick to the plan.
Do know the rates and the gasoline stations along the way.
Do reservations and have your stays booked in advance.
Do get a map and map out your route.
Do know the times of the RORO trips.
Do know the #'s of the police stations for each town in case of emergency.

    DONT's:
Do not travel late night. As much as possible, plan to drive during early mornings and late afternoons, but never into the night.
Do not go outside of the mapped route, stick to the route as much as possible.

Ako lang ika recommend nimo bro is to ride with at least another rider. This way, naa makatabang nimo if there are any unforeseen events and mas okay sad ang byahe if naa kauban. The more the merrier ika-nga. If taas taas imo bakasyon bro, I would suggest to go around Negros. I am from Negros Oriental and I can definitely recommend exploring Negros Oriental and Negros Occidental, you'd have to be away though for around 3-4 days to tour it (daghan daghan ang stops and day driving only with lunch and snack stops).

-hope makatabang ni nimo bro, its been a long time since I went on a joy ride (from Negros to Naga and back). Plan it good and you will surely enjoy it. Good luck!
