how to reproduct playing flash/youtube crashes the latpop, blue screen
windows sometimes just blue screen, hang
sometimes bios menu , distorted image(lines) hang

note: blue screen different errors, sometimes this sometimes that. tried using 1 memory, changing slots, and using another memory from other laptops. same issue. thinking it to be motherboard(internal video card problem)

not a flash player issue; kay tested on chrome and firefox w/ latest flash player. (chrome used its own flash player)

memtest 86 - (2 x1gb memory) - done 1 by 1. 100% ok
hdd - hdtune - 100% ok
checkdisk -100% ok
hwmonitor - temp ok 40-50 deg

Video chip problem na bro. Mao ng sakit sa CQ40. I have the AMD variant. Its been idle for more than 1 year already..
Daghan threads sa tpc about sa ing-ana nga problem sa CQ40. You can also find a lot of discussions on the net..

Yes. That is exactly the fault in the design- poor heat transfer on the video chip causing microfractures on the solders. In my case pwede lang sya external display upon opening, pero kung moinit na syag maayo, mobalik na ang display sa lcd nya.

Daghan nag nisuway pareflow ana. Mobalik lang gihapon ang sakit. Im contemplating on having the video chipset replaced by a faster one like HD3300 integrated graphics (iyaha kai hd3200) para 2 birds with one stone na. Naay tig-buhat ana sa Greenhills using precision equipment. Problem is the source of the video chip itself..
