With all the technology we have, I was surprised to know that we have only explored 10% of our waters (Seas, Oceans etc...). I was wondering why and what's keeping us from exploring more?

Extreme pressure and limitations on our current technology I guess.
Same reason why humans have dug a very minute depth of our earths crust while a satellite have crossed pass out of our solar system.
