Default Micro ATX or Mini ITX?

Nag huna2x kog upgrade sa almost 8 year old nga desktop sa balay sa province (mao pa to akong good old Opteron S939 rig) og nag huna2x ko asay maayo nga platform for all around family/home use...

Murag mas sulit man siguro ang Micro ATX sah at least naa pay headroom for peripheral upgrades?... ITX man gud PCIe ra ang ma upgrade nga peripheral unya syempre, home desktop pang matagalan na gyud na mao long term akong gi consider pud...

By the way, gusto ko gamay og footprint mao Micro ATX og Mini ITX ra akong pilian (unta - hopefully maigo pa sa budget, huwat kog amot sa akong mga igsoon)...

if micro atx what are you planning to do with the extra pciex1/pci slots? I'd go with the ITX set-up kay nagplano pud ko ug ITX build for home use.

for me, mas kumbate ang ITX... wala na bitaw kaayo i-puno except sa discrete GPU kun mag games ug bug-at... other than that, like kun HTPC ang tirada, game kaayo ang katong case na mura'g component ug nawong...

I reckon that the rig will not be attending any lan-parties noh bro? So i strongly suggest you go the microatx way.
Its less expensive to build and more serviceable even by non-techies. Less maintenance also is a big plus for people who are away most of the time (like me). I just love those washable filters on Silverstone matx cases..

m-atx. dili sad lisud ang cable management para atleast tarong ang airflow sa imong components. wala ta kabalo i htpc nimo pero gusto ka mo butang ug high end na sound card? and for sure a m-itx can't accommodate that expansion. and true! mas barato ang m-atx.
