- Argued with Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile on the alleged cash-gifts the latter distributed at the end of 2012, when Enrile distributed P1.6M to augment the senators' maintenance and other operating expenses in which Cayetano together with his sister, Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV only received P250,000 pesos.

- Magdalo (mutineer)
- In 2003, he spearheaded the Oakwood Mutiny where he and other dissident soldiers took over the Oakwood Premier Ayala Center (now Ascott Makati) serviced apartment tower in Makati City to show the Filipino people the alleged corruption of the Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo administration.
- In 2007, facing coup d' etat charges in connection with the 2003 Oakwood Mutiny, he and other Magdalo officials walked out of their court hearing and marched towards the Peninsula Manila hotel in Makati City, to reiterate their call for the ouster of then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
- The first senator to be elected from jail via a strong anti-corruption advocacy.

3. Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III
- Lost to Juan Miguel Zubiri for the 12th slot of the senate in 2007 by just a margin of 18,372 votes due to a huge difference in the final count in Maguindanao, where Zubiri ranked first. He subsequently filed an electoral protest against Zubiri in the Senate Electoral Tribunal (SET). The SET resolved to proceed with the protest finding grounds for a recount. Pimentel won the protest and was proclaimed as the real winner on August 11, 2011, days after Zubiri resigned.

4. Baldomero Falcone
- He ran for vice president in the 2010 national elections but was unsuccessful in his bid.
- President of Milenium Industrial Commercial Corporation and vice-president of Global Interphase Security Services Provider Inc.
- He claims that securitization is his special skill and that this can help increase revenues and decrease unemployment in the country.
- Highly vocal in his criticism of “oligarchs” and highly political families. He undoubtedly supports this bill, pushing for his vision of a truer democracy than one that is manipulated by the old and rich.

- One of key proponents for the impeachment proceedings against former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
- Escudero wanted to run for presidency in the 2010 Presidential Elections after he decided to resign from the Nationalist People's Coalition. He ultimately decided not to run for the said post.
- During the Phil-China stand-off in Scarborough Shoal, he proposed a joint exploration with China instead of armed conflict.

11. Grace Poe-Llamanzares
- Adopted daughter of Fernando Poe, Jr. and Susan Roces; Half-sister of Lovi Poe.
- Chair of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) (2010-present).
- Did not attend the opposition UNA rally in Cebu "because it still hurts" (referring to some members of the UNA party that were enemies of her late father. The same people contributed to Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's 1-million lead over Fernando Poe, Jr. in Cebu in the 2004 Presidential Elections).
12. Greco Belgica
- Born 1978 (34 years old)
- A Filipino businessman and pastor from the Lord's Vineyard Church
- Councilor of the Sixth District of the City of Manila from 2004 to 2007
- Current President of the Yeshua Change Agents a Non Government Organization involved in Anti-Drug Campaigns and advocating reconstruction of society to its Biblical calling
- An advocate of the implementation of a flat tax system in the Philippines
13. Gregorio "Gringo" Honasan
- Played key role in the 1986 EDSA Revolution that toppled the Marcos dictatorship.
- Led a series of coup attempts against Cory Aquino. On August 28, 1987, fighting broke out in the streets and Honasan ordered his men to attack government installations, resulting in the deaths of dozens, including many civilians.
- President Fidel V. Ramos, who was elected in 1992, granted amnesty to Honasan. Honasan utilized his rebel infamy to enter politics in 1995, becoming the first independent candidate in Philippine history to win a seat in the Senate. He was re-elected in 2001, and 2007.

- Only son and namesake of Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile.
- Representative of the 1st District of Cagayan in the Congress of the Philippines (1998-2007, 2010-present)
- Eighth most absent lawmaker as of November 18 2012 in the 16th Congress in the House of Representatives
15. Jamby Madrigal
- Ran for president in 2010 but lost.
- Authored numerous bills to address the needs of women and youth.
- During the campaign period of the 2010 presidential elections, she launched many allegations of corruption against Sen. Manny Villar. She brought out "700 pages of evidence" to prove that Villar had "realigned C-5 (a main Metro Manila thoroughfare) to pass by Villar's real estate developments so that Villar would be paid for right of way."
- Recently, she was the subject of intense public scrutiny when she launched an iPad promo online in support for her bid for the senate in the 2013 elections. Vote buying is defined under Section 261 as “any person who gives, offers or promises money or anything of value… directly or indirectly… in order to induce anyone or the public in general to vote for or against any candidate.”
