Hi Users,

Keynote for Mac OS X and the iPad is primarily designed for creating slideshow presentations. You can use the software for another purpose, such as taking notes for your classes, at meetings or to record important thoughts and ideas. Think of each new slide as a new page in a notebook. Create as many slides as necessary to jot down those must-have notes.

1. Open the "Keynote" application on your Apple iPad or Mac computer.

2. Create a new slideshow presentation. Choose a theme for your note-taking project. For this task, it's recommended to select a simple theme, such as "White," "Black" or "Gradient." You can always change the theme at a later time.

3. Double-click the title field to give your note-taking project a title. In the subtitle field, you can type the date and location to remind you later when and where the notes are from.

4. Add a new slide. On the iPad, tap the "+" icon at the bottom left side of the screen. On Mac OS X, click the "New" button at the upper right corner of the program window.

5. Select the template type. On Mac OS X, click the "Master" icon in the top toolbar. On the iPad, you are automatically greeted with the template selector after clicking the "+" icon.

6. Select the "Bullets" template for typing quick, short descriptions in bullet formatting. If you need to take long form notes choose the "Title & Subtitle" template.

7. Create a new slide for each page of notes you would like to create. When you're done with note-taking, you can playback the slideshow or scroll through the slides to see what you've jotted down.

8. Save the slideshow presentation, so you don't lose the notes you've taken.

Thanks and Regards
