    Default E6600 Core 2 Duo

When I check Using CPU-Z, clock speed keeps chaning from the regualr rated 2400mhz to 1600mhz and it does this by istelf, no steaduly but eratically, meaning it changes every few seconds.

I tried setting the clock to 333mhz x 9 and it does but and go in windows, no stability tests done yet till I figure out why the clock changes even when you set the clock manually.

Only Reason I can think off is that Asus either has a technology that lowers clock speed when not in use to no abuse PC parts. Intel Auto steppings is disabled at bios. Either im getting too old for this or I just cant figure it out. Hehehehe. Any opions will be highly respected In other words, help?

Akoa before I flashed the BIOS yesterdi, there was a setting called "speedstep" gyud then after flashing it it became C1E nalang. By default it was off, after flashing, by default it was on, I like it on thought, saves my CPUS overclocked life It runs 3.0ghz only when it feels it needs it too
