After just 6 months since the release of iPad 3rd generation, here comes the 4th gen iPad.

This is ridiculous. It pissed off most of the iPad3 owners.

This should be called a freaking iPad3S

Here's the specifications. It's just a tweaked of iPad 3 more or less.



- 2x the performance of CPU tasks versus the third-gen's A5X processor.
- Also 2x in graphics processing.
- New image signal processor as well for things like image stabilization.
- W/same 10 hours of battery life.





- 10 hours battery life. FaceTime HD. Expanded LTE.
- Front camera now FaceTime HD w/720p video capture, and new LTE chipset that works on more networks.
- 2x faster Wi-Fi, and a Lightning connector.





IT IS STILL HAS THE SAME PRICE AS iPad 3.

Apple is desperate

Basically, 2x Faster processor and Wifi connectivity. The word "desperate" is kind of appropriate ^^. iPad 3 is still selling very great and they kill it.

It doesn't mean that older iPads will stop working if a newer model comes. I bought an iPad for a purpose not to brag it to other people. Sad to say that some of us buy these new gadgets so that they will feel superior to others..

Some people are just keen of not wanting their gadgets to be looked outdated very fast (although 6month gap is not really considered outdated). Practically speaking you are very right. If it still does work for your purpose, it works for your purpose....
