guys, karon rako naka try ug transfer ug music sa ipad 2, pag sync nko, nawagtang man tanan akong music nga naa sa i pad nah.. unsao.on pag transfer ug new songs from itunes to ur ipad nga dili mawagtang imong old songs?? help guys.. and katong na wala nako na mga old songs ma recover pa to?? asa man to nako ma retrieve?

Bro, ang music sa iTunes library will prevail once synced. So, tanan music na wala sa iTunes mawala sa iPad if e sync nimo. If naa ka music sa iPad na wala sa iTunes imo dapat kuhaon nya imo e butang sa iTunes para inig sync nimo mo transfer sa iPad.

Wala nato imo music na nawala pag sync bro.hehe

IMPORTANT: e setup imo iTunes para dili mo sync automatically.
- Run iTunes, connect your iPad, Cancel sync if mo automatic.
- Click your device.
- Click Summary> Options>
check the box "Manually manage music and videos". The rest of the tick box kay e uncheck.
- Kanang menu sa imo device na Apps Music Movies TV Shows Podcasts Photos, e uncheck usa na sila unless ready naka mo sync in each category.

IMPORTANT: e transfer imo mga Apps sa iPad to iTunes para same mga apps nimo sa duha.
- Right click on your device. Click "Transfer purchases".
- Right click on your device. Click "Backup". (mo automatic raman ni ang backup pero para lang sigurado).


REMINDER: Yaw pataka ug sync sa lain lain na computer kay lain lain na sila ug iTunes library. If sigurado jud ka nga mo sync sa lain iTunes, you have to set up sa menu >Store >Authorize this computer.

amorchuckie's post is correct but naa lang ko ipuno one detail sa iya post.

you are only allowed to authorize up to 5 computers ra so careful ka which computer you authorize.

but for me, naa ko shortcut nga wala jud labad sa ulo. it's so much easier to use compared sa itunes.

^^^ yep bro but once you will reach the limit of authorized computers you can just remove one. This is very common to those having been formatting their PC a couple of times and re-installing iTunes without backing up the old library. Maabot na ug 5 computers bisan same ra nga PC gigamit.hehehe


TO DEAUTHORIZE COMPUTER (iTunes 10.7 but this is almost the same in all iTunes versions)

- Run iTunes program and going to the iTunes Store via the iTunes Store menu item in the left-hand tray.

- Once you're at the iTunes Store, click on the Sign In button at the top right corner (if you're not signed in) or on your account name in the same location (if you're already signed in) with drop down arrow. Click Account.

- This will bring you to your iTunes account. You'll see a section labelled Computer Authorizations towards the bottom. Next to it is a button that reads Deauthorize All. Click it.

- A window will pop up asking you to confirm that this is what you want to do. Continue.
In just a few seconds, all 5 computers on your account will be deauthorized.

^Bro advisable ba to deauthorize my PC first if mg reformat ko? or how to back-up my old library?

^Yaw lang sa bro. BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP your library first. Once you have done formatting and installing new iTunes you must restore your backup iTunes librabry (click here iTunes: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive).

Once done, run iTunes go to Store> Authorize this Computer. If mo warn na "this computer have been authorized" OK na na, but if not (I mean iya gani e authorize imo computer) that means nag to-o ang Store na lain nga PC ni. That's the time you have to deauthorize then authorize balik para sigurado limpyo ba.


IMPORTANT: COMMON MISTAKES

If you have done the backup (iTunes library already in your flashdrive or any storage device) you must open what's inside. Check if all music, movies, apps, etc. are present. If not, that means you have done it the wrong way. Basin unya wala matarong ug backup nya imo na gi fomat imo PC. ByeBye philippines jud ka.hehehe.
