I was just transferred here in cebu a couple of months ago...my GF who is based in manila decided to spend the weekend here. A friend referred to me the person who facilitated our accommodation at Imperial Palace the previous month. I contacted the person to inquire if she can facilitate for a possible overnight accommodation.
She said they could... she asked for my name and the usual stuff for booking(daw)... Afterwards she gave me the total amount to be paid. She said that i must deposit it to their company's account at any UCPB branch. Since i am already in the airport waiting for my flight back to manila, i told her that ill just deposit the amount required the following day. I made the payment through UCPB commonwealth (i still keep the deposit slip as souvenir

) as agreed.
After couple of hours, i received a txt message from the agent informing me that they received a certain payment from manila and they just want to ask if that was from me. I told them it is. The lady then told me that they would sent me the transaction reference to be presented at the hotel one week before the check in date through email. Alas... it never happened.
I kept on calling them but no one answered the phone. two days before my GF's arrival, the lady(agent) informed me that their system is down, hence they cannot issue the required transaction/booking reference (or whatever it is called). They presented me with two options;
1) rebook my accommodation to a later day, or
2) refund my payment.
I opted for the latter. I gave them my account and they told me that they just drop the refund there.... sa awa ng Dyos, magtatatlong buwan na, wala paring refund...
I still try to call them once in a while...pero as expected ring lng ng ring ang phone walng sumasagot.
