Canadian Visitor Visa Application w/ CA citizen sponsor

Hi Everyone!

I just submitted my TRV application today via Air21 (courier for Canadian Embassy in Manila)
I have a friend who is sponsoring my trip for 30days. He's a Canadian Citizen (who resides in Kitchener) with a good paying job.
I am only 21years old, Female, and works for a call center company for less than a year (so no chance of getting a leave of absence for 1month).
I dont have a huge amount of money on my savings account, because I never thought of saving till early this year.
My application was sent with the documents listed on the Checklist but other than that, I wasnt able to include supporting documents.
I prayed this application would be a success, and God knows I just want to go for a visit. Esp now na coming na ang winter season.

I will be posting updates sa application ko.
I hope it'll be positive.

Im really sad today. bag o pa nko nadawat ang application package I sent to the Embassy of Canada..
My Temporary Resident Visa was refused.. huhuhu.. Reason: Regulation 179..

But I should say, that despite of the negative result I got, mabilis ang processing nila.. If you remembered, I submitted my application on October 15.. And I got the result today..
Considering the Holiday.. haay.. but still, super sad ako kasi nga refused

Hmm sad to hear but I think several factors might denied your application: no travel history (?), immigrant status so you're a filipino citizen, your family ties in Canada (no family relatives?), purpose of visit (friend- Male?? who is a Canadian citizen works in Kitchener having a good pay) limited employment prospects in your country of residence (I guess you're a nurse then working on a call center for less than a year?), current employment status (unemployed?), your personal assets and financial status (personal bank account? so I think less than the required CAD because you've stated you haven't save that much). I think the V.O. suspects you that you have the intent to stay in Canada permanently.

BTW, you can re apply again. Make sure you prove to them that you have strong ties in our country. Good luck.
