phobia (from the Greek: φόβος, Phóbos, meaning "fear" or "morbid fear") is, when used in the context of clinical psychology, a type of anxiety disorder, usually defined as a persistent fear of an object or situation in which the sufferer commits to great lengths in avoiding, typically disproportional to the actual danger posed, often being recognized as irrational. In the event the phobia cannot be avoided entirely, the sufferer will endure the situation or object with marked distress and significant interference in social or occupational activities.

Ophidiophobia or ophiophobia.

Mine is "ranidaphobia" or fear of Frogs! It was started when I was 4-5 years old.. until now..

Ako dli man q mahadlok og frogs, murag makalitan lang or lud-an. Pareha naq. Kanang masugatan nimo ang dako na baki sa dalan or ig.tan.aw nmo sa tanom kay naa frog nagkapyot.

Ako kay:

hemophobia - fear of blood; kanang naay mgkadugo, murag gyud q ug ka-emphatize; kung asa sila na spot nagkadugo mura pud q ug nagkadugo dra na part. if naay nabuthan ang kamot ug pabuto mura gyud ug binhod ako kamot pud. hehehe
trypanophobia - fear of needles
Achluophobia - darkness, acrophobia - heights - taslakan kaayo ko. hehe
thanatophobia - tanan man tngali mahadlok ma-deads. lol Dili pud q gnahan ug anything connected sa dead--wake, cemetery, memento mori, hearses and the like.
