Are you tired of sleeping alone? Do you long for the comfort of another warm human body as you drift off to slumberland but don’t have anyone to accommodate you? Well, the Japanese have your back (or whatever part of your body you like to sleep on).


Soineya a.k.a. a “cuddle café” (but the literal translation being “sleep together shop”) opened its doors last Sept. 25 in Tokyo’s Akihabara district. Basically, customers pay to sleep with an attractive girl.

But this isn’t a brothel and there’s no s**. You are paying to literally sleep with a girl. As Sonieya’s website says—you are being offered the “simple and ultimate comfort of sleeping together with someone.” Uh…just don’t mind that bulge under your pjs.




And if you’re an attractive young woman between the ages of high school to 30s and looking for work that falls under the job description of “sleeping” for a salary of $45/hour, you’re in luck because the café is currently hiring.

Getting paid $45 an hour to sleep?! Damn, I’m in the wrong profession.
