Tana lng ta ko pila ang lifespan sa pc memory specifically DDR PC2100. Pila man jud kasagaran ka tuig mo dugay ang memory.

depende ang lifespan sa imo pag amping sa imo memory.... its like a human being bro...it has its end but u can prolong its life dba?
ur memory module may last 1 sec to 10 years or more... pero average mga 3-5 yrs cguro i hav no statistical data to prove that...bana2x lng..

Main Cause:
1. tang2x taod (possible ma bend nimo ang PCB then ma loose ang mga chips)
2. dust ( could trigger less contact to possible no contact)
3. execessive HEAT such as overclocking and overusage
4. abuse,misuse and overuse...

5. another very important thing.... NEVER REMOVE YOUR MEMORY MODULES WHEN NAKA PLUG PA 2 ANY POWER SOURCE... This can be harmful to your memory labi na ma short iya pins then naa pa current magdagan ...

Its not also good to always clean your memory modules kana cge gamitan eraser maskin wala ra nagproblema(This is only my opinion) Pwede cguro dili lng permi tangtangon sa iya slot kung naay b lower or vacuum cleaner... pero kung abog najud kaayo dha na time kelangan nimo kuhaon ang module since kuyaw mag moist unya ang abog then ma short nuon ang terminals... ang memory kung naay prob mo beep jud na ang mobo inig boot. dinhi pwede na nimo gamitan eraser, strong warning lng...hinay-hinay lng jud ayaw iduot ug ayo, ayaw pangusog ug ayo then place in a cushioned table ba or unsa...amping rajud... delicate mani nga butang...
