i believe these surveys are done by people with vested interests. depends on who's paying for the survey.

Of course, it will be an added boost to candidates if they are included in the magic 12. It will surely help their campaign if they know on the onset that the people like them. But then again, we can ask how were these surveys conducted? Also, who paid these companies for them to conduct the surveys? I am sure these companies are profiting this time of the year since candidates are getting their services, tacitly that is.

It's not an assurance that because you land among the magic 12 during surveys, you will certainly win this coming election. I remember Pia Cayetano and Jamby Madrigal having their way at the Senate when they didn't even reach among the top 12 during surveys.

Again, what's more important is their performance and track record. At least, that will not be based on perception alone, but reality.

    Credible sila.

But take also the question "asa nila na lugar ilang gi-survey"? For example, kung sa Manila ra daug gyud ang mga GO candidates but dili sa Visayas and Mindanao I think dili na.

Sometimes, mag-wonder ko sa mga surveys kay dili nila ibutang unsa na region or place ilang gi-surveyhan. Just like gud sa atong subject sa college na thesis mag-butang man gyud ta ug "Scope and limitation". Ila unta pud na ipakita kay para kita kahibalo pud na ang ilang scope.
