It's unfortunate that priests like these are allowed to go unpunished for decades. It's even more disgusting that the clergy has allowed him to secure a high position in the church hierarchy despite his crimes. If im not mistaken, this guy is also one of the most notorious ivory smugglers in the Philippines, according to NatGEo. "Forgiving" him isn't enough, he should face serious jail time for his despicable acts. If he were a poor farmer who molested his neighbor's daughter/son, tingkagul na unta na sya sa prisohan karun, pero kay pari man . . . tsk tsk.

Honestly, this is one of the reason why i don't go to church anymore. Because the people who lead the mass sometimes are no longer credible. Before I attended masses every Sunday and attend a charismatic group every Wednesday. But after all these controversies, I have doubts in the church I'm in-but never the GOD that I worshiped. I'd rather do good things to other people & share my blessings. I make sure that I don't cause any pain to people and pray to God directly because He is anywhere.
