If you want to experience caving at its finest, then you better drop-by at
Holy Crystal Cave located in Brgy. Union, San Francisco, Camotes.
For only P20, you get to enjoy stalactites, stalagmites, and crystals up close and inches away.
I am helping the cave discoverer/caretaker/tour guide (Mr. Avito Formantera) promote the place because, unfortunately, the local government is not giving him any.
The caving will take 1 hour and 30 minutes max for the entire tour. Some habal-habal drivers will not take you to this place because according to them it's a waste of time. Just a word of advice, try to insist because it's part of the package tour that you paid for.
A group of 5 persons per batch will only be allowed to go inside for oxygenation purposes and to make the experience worthwhile and memorable.
As of my writing (Sept 2012), you will be taken to 8 levels/floors. He named the place as such because each level consists of "holy themes." You will mostly see saintly/holy figures and formations of the stalactites and stalagmites.
I wasn't able to take pictures because it was raining so hard when we got there. However, if you want to see some pictures and videos, here are the links:
