Default Need Help for my RAM!

I will be assembling a CPU with Processor IntelŪ PentiumŪ Processor G630 (3M Cache, 2.70 GHz), Motherboard ASUS P8H61-M LX3 PLUS and Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600 HyperX. I have reviewed that my mobo from the manual that it only supports DDR3 1333/1066 and my Processor from the manual supports DDR3-1066. Will my RAM be usable? Will it runs smoothly? I really need help so that I can return the RAM and change it to another one.

in principle they are not compatible. but you can try.

They are compatible and will run smoothly by all means. All higher clocked mems have predefined SPD settings (serial presence detect) which are lower clocks standard to the architecture they are built for.

it should run, it will be down clocked automatically by the mobo... but who knows really, shit happens sometimes or you can check the QVL for that mobo just to be sure...

By any means they should run. Kung dili man automatic, timings are easily adjustable manually.

    Take this for instance:

Clocks to the left are SPD timings showing the supported JEDEC standards for a regular 1333 ram. Basically, anything lower than the rated speeds, the ram will support it..

CPU-Z? Unsaon pag install ana? Sa SPD automatic ra na siya mu hatag ug values then validate lang dayon?

SPD is automatically detected since it is built-inwithin the ram. Basically all rams should be configured straight out of the factory to support those lower JEDECs..

Download ra ng CPU-Z bro.. Mr Google knows where..Sorry, tinapulan ko ron..

But then i'd say there's a 1-5% chance that sh@* will happen. Even if it does, its not on the timings though. It will either be a defective ram or ram slot..
