actually, i don't agree. i think of it as the 2nd coming of SCUM or Showground. Mao na ni siguro ang panahon nga ang arte sa Cebu mabutang na sa mapa sa music scene sa pilipinas and also a time nga ang cebuano music scene nagsugod na ug cultivate sa iyahang orig nga identity as opposed to unconciously being spoon-fed("ripping" is such a harsh word) by alien acts. I admit, some bands are just being in a band for the sake of well, "being in a band". But that's how you separate the weed from the plant.

Ang gibuhat sa Smash, gitagaan ta ug "alternative" to what mainstream is playing when they started. Pero karong mga panahona, gi-sakyan na sad sa mga mapahimuslanon. Deja vu? I think so too.

I don't think playing bisrock is the issue of Smash FM, it's just that they do not have proper DJs and people who can screen the demos that the station gets as to provide some quality control.
