Yep. An investor doesn't need to be a businessman.

Example, kanang mga na biktima sa networking, mahulog cla investor, pero tungod kay dli man cla businessman(thinking) nasayang ra ilang investment. lol

A good example of investing is saving in the bank. You are investing it sa bank(the bank could close or give you small interest per anum etc...) You are net necessarily a businessman to invest/save in a bank dba?

Kung more detailed imong question bro, mka answer guro mi ug more detailed pod.

I guess investors and businessmen have common main goals and that is to earn from their investments and businesses. Technically speaking, anything that involves any transaction, if it involves money, is considered as business. Investments require money hence, IMO, investors, whether directly or indirectly or in whatever category they consider themselves into, becomes businessmen in the process.

But are investors necessarily businessmen? I guess it's not a prerequisite but doing the investment itself makes such investor a businessman.

I guess the common POV of people about investors and businessmen are:

Investors = People who just put money into something with the expectation of either capital appreciation or protection.
Businessmen = People who are at some ways involved in the business, especially in the operations.
