can't connect wifi

here's my problem, kung sa windows ko mu.boot maka connect rako sa wifi sa usa ka foodcourt sako pirmi standbyan pero kung ubuntu ako gamiton, di cya ka.connect. karun rajud ni. last week maka.connect man ta ko sa wifi using ubuntu. nganung karun di naman. anyone can help? tnx

Bro, unsa may imong gikalikot/install sa imong laptop before na mawala, basin mao to ang hinundan... naa sab koy na experience sa Ubuntu (anyway noob ko sa Ubuntu most probable ako ang may prolema... ) I'm using ALFA USB Wireless adapter sa akong laptop (naka OFF ang wireless sa laptop) kung sa Windows ko mo-boot walay problema maka-connect ko... pero kung sa Ubuntu ko mo-boot dili ko ka connect kinahanglan nga ako pang i-ON ang laptop wireless, para maka-connect ang ALFA USB Wireless adapter....

DHCP Leases might have reached it limit..
I don't know their policy for DHCP leases
but a big probability is that your windows is still under lease.

They should have a 24 hour DHCP lease or 12 hours..

You can try this though..
if you know the IP Address range sa network,
try to manually change your ubuntu IP settings..
then connect to the network.

I don't know what will happen, I wanna try it..

try lang kuno ug clear ang imog wireless bord, delete tana nimo nga naa sa ubuntu, nya connect ug balik.
