HP compaq nc6320 "media test failure" problem

I had a problem with this laptop given to me from abroad with windows 7 os and since i can't understand the language i had it installed with windows xp but it won't continue and a problem pops up everytime i clicked on starting windows normally this "media test failure" issue. I had replaced the hdd but still the same problem occurs. I tried to reformat 3 same laptops with the same problem. Could it be an issue using not genuine OS on it?

he replaced his HDD already. try google the problem :P could be a laptop issue

i already tried replacing the hdd sir but still same prob occurs

try to check ur boot seq.. in bios... make sure that CD/DVD rom is your first boot in able to install your windows XP

have updated the bios? try to remove ODD then check if same problem will occur.

problem solved...had taken out the hdd then using another laptop installed os on that hdd and put it back...
