    Default network lan


    guys,

    my globe tattoo wireless modem is connected to my four port router. my pc is connected to my router while my laptop is connected to the wifi..

    1. is it possible to have a file sharing between the two?

    2. is it possible to play LAN games (CS,DotA, etc,etc) in this type of connection?

    naka DHCP man kaha imu router? unsa brand sa imu router?

    unsa OS nimo og uban nga PC? kay naa'y extra buhaton para sa windows 7 aron maka file sharing..
    ang windows xp, sayun ra pag filesharing..

    WIndows 7 32bit, windows 7 64bit ug windows XP.. hehe

    pwd kaau na TS. make sure to enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, kay dra ko nasangit before.same workgroup name xempre dapat.
    mao na akong setup sa balay. globe wimax to a buffalo router. wired desktop, desktop with wireless card, 1 laptop and a netbook. all can access shared folders. can stream movies using vlc. played LAN games like DOTA and CS and generals ZH. used remote desktop kung kapoy monaog mo off sa PC.
    tricky lang at first congiguring rules and zones in Eset Smart Security.

    mao ra akong mashare. hehe.

    gakalata ang mga how-to's bout ana online. nindot ang feeling once you have it all working.

    Bro Hatag lang ko ug mga Basic Tips aron makita dayon mga devices sa imu LAN nga gusto nimo e.share!

    Follow These Tips:

    1.Go to Control Panel
    2.Click Network and Internet
    3.Click Network and Sharing Center
    4.And Click Advanced Sharing Settings
    5.And Turn on Network Discovery,Turn on File And Printer Sharing, Turn on Public Folder Sharing and Save.


    Thats all Bro para jud ni sa Windows 7!!!

    unsaon pag enable sa netbios? wa koy problema ani sauna sa network kad2 normal pa nga modem amo, wired pa,.. and if ang laptop kay iconnect nako sa router dili sa wifi..
    sa ako network, ang ako ra laptop ang naa.. but if dli wifi ako gamit, madetect nako ang other 2 pc..

    question bro, ang imong four port router, wifi router ni siya with 4 ethernet ports?

    4.Right click on the Local Area Connection select Properties.
    5.Select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
    6.Click the Advanced button under the General tab.
    7.Click the WINS tab.
    8.Click Enable NetBIOS Over TCP/IP.
    9.Click OK and Exit the settings.

    do this btw for both your wired and wireless LANs. bsin mao na makasolve. hehe.

    dili wifi router bro... ang modem ang wifi sa ako..ang router ad2 naka connect gikan sa modem..

    yup..b4,. kad2 dili pa wifi ang modem.. wired pa.. den ang laptop ug ang uban pc kay naka connect sa 4 port router.. so ma access nako ang uban pc gamit ani kay mag wired pa man ko sa ako laptop..
    bsan karon if mag wired ko sa laptop, ma-access nako ang uban pc ug ma access nila ako.. but if mag wifi ko, dili na

    if magdali jud ka sa imong sharing bro, disable ang firewall sa windows, nya i turn off pud ang password sharing sa windows7.
