Crazy Question [4x Monitor on 2x 'el cheapo' VC]

Good Day to All,

As the title suggest..., is it possible to have a 4x Monitor on 2x Video Card?

Things in consideration:
-> main point is to have "independent" extended display
-> CrossFire | SLI is not needed
-> the maximum budget for both cards is 4k.
-> both cards should be the same brand and model.


I see "AMD's eyefinity" and NVidia's but it seems too expensive


Any Suggestions/Recommendations?

na a man ATI 5770-6770-7770 na eyefinity boss.

i don't think puede na...bisan pa mag sli or xfire ka with 2 vc. same ra gihapon they will run as 1 with more video performance.

I suggest go for VC with eyefinity or support more display.

Actually, you can have 4 displays with 2 video cards as long as your purpose is to extend your desktop. just disable SLI or Crossfire and windows will detect all four displays.

anyways, yes, ang ako main objective is to have 'extended' desktop and I don't need XFire or SLI for this.

dili man sab ta kwartahan nga pwede rata mamalit ug parts then ato testingan

wala sab mga samples sa net


ang ako plan is to buy a VC which is from the range of 1.5k to 2k each (2x VC) (2x displays per VC) para "daghan" space ako desktop.

anyways, you can say that if I buy 2x NVidia 210 VC and insert it in a mobo with 2x pcie slot and it will work out that I intent it to be!?

Yes it will work as long as you have 2x PCI - E slots. you can ask the store kung asa ka mu palit to test it for you of you want to make sure.

as you can see, 2x VC to be tested with 4x monitors!!!


also, will it work also on either ATI or NVIdia cards? as long as same lang ang duha?
