Mga ate ug kuya. pwde magpatabang.
1.) Find a number K>0 such that the area bounded by the curves y=x^2 and y=k-x^2 is 72 Square units.
2)The region bounded by the curve y=sin x,the line y=1, and to the right of the y axis.
3.)Find the area of the region enclosed by the triangle having vertices at (3,4),(2,0)and(0,1).
4.)Find the area of the curve in the first quadrant bounded by the curves (y=x^3),(y=2x).
5.)Find the area enclosed by the curves (5y^2=16x) and (y^2=8x-24).
6.)Find the area enclosed by the curves (y=|x|);(y=x^2-1);(x=-1);(x=1)

(y=|x|);(y=x^2-1);(x=-1);(x=1)
y:
(y=|x|)= 1
(y=x^2-1)= 0

x:
(x=-1)= -1
(x=1)= 1

mura siya nag-form ug triangle covering 1st and 4th quadrant. unsa gani iuna suwat? ang x or ang y?

di nmn gud siya pwede if start ka sa 1
(y=x^3),(y=2x)
y=1^3
= 1

y=2x
= 2(1)
=2
1 is not equal to 2 so 0 silang duha giving
(y=x^3),(y=2x)
y=0^3
=0

y=2x
=2(0)
=0

0 is equal to 0, therefore x and y are 0

solutions sa number 5 ky:
(5y^2=16x) and (y^2=8x-24)

5y^2=16x
5(8x-24)=16x
40x-120=16x
40x-16x=120
24x=120
x=120/24
x=5

y^2=8x-24
y^2= 8(5)-24
y^2= 40-24
y^2= 16
y= square root of 16
y= 4
