as much as i want it, i just cant help but wonder and be hopefull that its email, contacts, and messaging features are as good or better than the S80 9500. if its similar implimentation as todays S60 3rd edition pk1 then id be in tears and will be forced to sqeeze out a few more years from my 9500 nalang

anyways, here are some details i gathered regarding the new communicator...

all applications can be launched and used both outside and inside interface!
how cool is that?! you can work on something using the front interface then when you want to continue is larger screen, open the thing and continue

USER memory is 136mb with 128mb usable with up to 2gb expandable memory via microsd
but whats fantastic is this has the largest RAM of any symbian OS phone ever built (daw!)
128mb RAM with about 80mb usable....sweet

UPnP and A2DP support

cover opens all the way to 180 degrees

keyboard is now backlighted and can be switched on or off

it has VIBRA built-in...our prayers have been answered

it may not have FAX support and the front facing 2nd camera for video calls is now QCIF not VGA resolution but who cares!!!

wah...i just got the bad news....

"no scheduled sending of messages. Standard automatic email retrieval options are also quite restricted as all you can choose is weekdays and period between two hours or time interval. The Phonebook application is very similar to the Series 80 version, however the Contact search function is extremely simple, only supporting first and last name fields (it's the "Quick search" type function looking for results as you type letters)"

thats it...im done with the e90!
im sticking with my 9500...

E90 is a great fone. not to mention it has GPS and AF cam. if only it is cheaper
as of the moment, ill just go with E70, a not so goodlooking but very capable all-in-one device

i got to play with this kanina...
really sad bout the phonebook search feature...doesnt even come close to the last 5 communicators phonebook handling...
phone is snappier compared to 9500...ligaw siya gamiton...both display is fully functional for all features/apps....
but funny how n95 is still faster though...but way faster than 9500 and way way way faster than the 9210i!
this has double the ram and same cpu as the n95 so i expect the release version to be even faster...

S60 is designed for none touchscreen interface...dont expect one from a S60 phone...

thats the bad thing about it E90 is not just a phone. its a pda.
