I feel for the whale sharks (it's not like they are complaining or anything) but I feel more for the people and their families earning income directly/indirectly from the tourism these animals bring in. So a few whale sharks feed a few thousand Cebuanos. So what, I think that's a pretty good trade. The sharks are guaranteed food and protection and the people a means of livelihood. I doubt it has an effect on the general population of whale sharks all over the world. Several whale sharks feeding a few thousand Cebuanos an entire year. Heck I'd be all for killing several whale sharks if it would feed hundreds of Cebuanos for a whole year.

The reason you have to curse to make your argument is a sign of weakness. LOL @ your made up credentials, and I bet when you speak of an archive you mean google. Haha you make me laugh.

OK Einstein, tell me what long term effects several whale sharks out of the possible thousands world wide will have on the general population? Excuse me but you are the one claiming to be the genius here so I will in turn not accept anything less than a verified study from your so called "wealth" of archives.

Why are you so emotional tree hugger that you had to use such strong a word as FCK? Anyways there's nothing you can do about it but cry uncle and make up stories. Huhuhu

Fish sanctuaries here in Cebu and around Visayas as far as I know, have been identified and maintained which protects aquatic resources from both intentional and unintentional damage caused by commerce and tourism. I believe the local government wants this to be a long term source of income for its people. To make it happen, officials need to make sure that these species are well taken cared of.
