First time I've ever heard of a 35-70. I'm guess thing is only for film SLRs? Or pwede sa DSLRs like the 550D? Because when I looked online, all I can find is the 35-70 FD...ergo film. Just need to have this clarified, coz I'm curious why you're looking to get a 50mm 1.8....

Yes I guess sa Film ni siya, pero i've been using this for couple of months to my DSLR, and here are the shots..
aku ni gi trade sa akung imported battery and charger plus cash saona.

if you're in google try to fill in : "canon 35-70mm" with out quote and with out spaces in between 35-70mm.


I want to have 50mm with 1.8f because baratuh ra siya nga maka shoot ug gabie. or hapon2x nga hayag gihapon.. kai f niya is 1.8 man.


kani aku lens is 3.5 ang f. but still good in outdoors and daylight.

Since I frequent this site -perhaps more than I ought to- I couldn't help but notice your comments on the lenses.

If you will allow me -and I feel you should- I would like to share certain infos regarding the Canon system.

Right after World War II Canon didn't have any lens and Nikon didn't have any camera. The first Canon range finder used a Nikon lens. Nikon was making glass for military warfare but since Japan was censored from doing anything -even if remotely -military, Nikon became a sitting duck. A Japanese camera retailer who had lots of doctor friends, mostly surgeons, was both curious and envious of the German's Leica that he dismantled one and with the backing of his friends produced a Japanese version of it. Nikon provided the lenses. It wasn't called Canon then but something that vaguely sounded like Canon. It had the name of a female deity.

Now that long aside, aside, range finders gave way to SLRs. Canon has, before the EOS-M mount, made four kinds of lenses: 1)FL; 2)FD; 3)Ef; 4)EFS. All FD and FL lenses are for manual cameras only. EF and EFS lenses are for EOS cameras regardless if they are film or digital. The EFS lenses -such as the kit lens- will not mount on full frame cameras, whether they are film or digital. Thus your kit lens -given you have one in your arsenal- will not mount in an Elan, EOS 5, EOS 5D.
