Buy and Sell rules state you have to post a price.
Announcements - Buy / Sell / Trade / Classifieds
You must post the following:
- a price for all FS deals and offers for LF deals
- RFS (Reason for Selling) for 2nd hand /vintage items
- Actual photos of Items being sold or traded.
Cheers!
mas maayo mo post ka ug price sir, forum rules man sad na.
Im a novice in coin and banknote collections, but from what I have learned, circulated coins arent worth much in value unless you have it graded professionaly. Reason is, the collectors. numismatists and pretty much people who are interested and have the funds to pay, only want mint or near mint coins and want proof or evidence to support it, preferrably shiny coins which are officially graded anywhere between MS60 - MS70(perfect mint condtion). If you have a coin that is in circulated general condition chances are it wont be worth too much. The holy grail of the USPI series is the 1906-S coin. If you are lucky enough to have that, then its a quick jackpot of at least 500-1,000 dollars or probably more depending on condition. I have a one peso 1903-S myself but last time I had an offer it was only for 2,000 pesos (more on the valuing below). Thats not to say that your coin is worthless tho... cause there is still some value to it. First off, coins under USPI series contained silver in them so there is value there.
Coin Value | Philippines 10, 20, 50 Centavos and 1 Peso 1903 to 1935
Based on that site, your coins' silver content is .5144 ounces. So just multilpy that with the current buying/selling price of Silver and that is what its worth. You could also add another 10-20$ on that price because of the historical and old value of the coin. I have 35 one peso coins myself from the years 1903-1905. Im just waiting for Silver prices to go up more and then I will sell them out. Probably by then I would have kids and it will be enough for 3 yrs worth of tuition. Lol.![]()
