Default Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

The movies has lots of chocolate and a load of lessons. One of the best movies this year. I like Johnny Depp. He is so funny and weird. And I like his character. His performance reminds me of his past movies like Edward Scissorhands and the Sleepy Hollow.

I like the small people too. They pop up a dance when one of the children get "punished" for violating the rules of the factory. Cool soundtrack too. Wow.

The lesson. Your family is more important than anything else in the world. Money cant buy love.

Saw this movie the other day. Johnny should have passed on this one. His Wonka version ended up looking like Michael Jackson.

This remake of the 1971 classic "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory" is one of the few remakes worth watching. Tim Burton was able to bring his dark touch into the wonderful world of Willy Wonka. From the sets to the characters definitely were touches by the director who gave us Big Fish, Batman, Edward Scissorhands and A Nightmare Before Christmas.

Johnny Depp once again proved his versitality as an actor by portraying the off-beat role of Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder portrayed Willy Wonka in 1971). His ability to immerse himself to the role definitely shines through in the movie.

The songs of Oompa Loompas did not meet my expectation, the original songs were a lot better and seemed more fitting for the movie. These songs were supposed to carry messages for children (after all, this is a children's movie) but these messages were not as clear as the 1971 classic.

The children who played the winners of the golden tickets played their parts wonderfully and it fit them like a glove.

Overall, this production is worth watching. Those who have watched the original will find a refreshing touch to Willy Wonka's world and those will experience the story for the first time will reminisce their childhood dreams of having a world full of candy. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp were successful in bringing the Chocolate Factory back to life.

Oompa Loompas diay to ngan sa mga gagmay nga tawo. He he he he. Wa ko kita sa original version pero definitely nalingaw gyud ko sa movie karon. Modern na man gud ta ron mao na ang kanta sa mga Oompa Loompas ila na pud gi modern.

Pero the movie is really nice. Makalingaw gyud. And dish out good lessons.

Seen this movie yesterday.... and well, it makes me want to be a kid again. Nice movie, very entertaining, though the story is very simple, you'll definitely learn some good lessons.
